TM86 Enterprises was founded in 2002 to close the gap between IT infrastructure and the physical facilities that host it. In the early years our work was almost entirely networks and server rooms — and we kept running into the same problem. The IT was sound, but the room around it was not: power that could not ride through an outage, cooling sized for an office rather than a rack, and fire protection that would have destroyed the very equipment it was meant to save.
So we built those disciplines in-house. Over two decades we added critical power, precision cooling, electro-mechanical works, and clean-agent fire protection alongside the IT practice, and we added the part most contractors leave out — commissioning that proves the system works, and maintenance that keeps it working. Today one TM86 team can supply, install, commission, and maintain an entire facility, and answer for all of it.
Two things have not changed since 2002. We still send our own engineers rather than subcontracting the part that decides whether a system works. And we still hand over a documented, tested installation — because a client should be given evidence that a system performs, not an assurance that it will.
